DHIKALA ZONE

It is the main and core area of the park for tourist. It is situated on the edges of the valley Patli Dun. Dhikala Zone is dotted with picturesque natural vistas and is considered a good site to spot herds of elephants, chitas and deer as well as Bengal Tiger. This Zone opens from 15th November till 15th June only.

BIJRANI ZONE

Another zone which is notable is blessed with enormous yet mixed topographical features. The entrance gate to Bijrani zone is Amadanda. If you want to spot Tigers, this zone is best because most of the tigers are spotted in Bijrai Zone in comparison to other zones. Bijrani zone opens only from 01st October to 30th June.

JHIRNA ZONE

Situated at a distance of 16km from Ramnagar, Jhirna Zone is the most comfortable safari zone that remains open throughout the year. The zone is best for its bamboo vegetation and wonderful bird watching experiences. Jhirna zone is in the southern area of Corbett.

Sonanadi ZONE

The central range of the Corbett National Park, Sonanadi zone is famous for being home of more than 500 avifauna species with sambhars, reptiles, leopards, and cheetals.

Durga Devi ZONE

Durga Devi Zone is mainly known for birdwatching, fishing, and angling, Durga Devi Zone situated in the Northeast zone of the national park is just the perfect place to spend a wildlife tour. This zone is known for watching diverse variety of birds like black-chinned Yuhina, grey-headed fishing eagle, crested laughing thrush, bar-tailed tree creeper, maroon orile, long-tailed broadbill, slaty blue flycatcher, and little forktail.

SITABANI BUFFER ZONE

It is not a part of the Corbett Tiger Reserve but a zone situated right opposite to Corbett National Park. The zone is predominantly known for its temples and various avifauna species. Sitabani is now called Corbett Landscape is a beautiful tourist zone for nature walks and visiting popular attractions around. Since, Sitabani zone does not lies under the Corbett Tiger Reserve, the rule & regulation of CTR is not applied in this zone.

Dhela ZONE

Sprawling over 1173 hectares, Dhela Zone is the sixth eco-tourism zone of Corbett National Park that was brought on India tourism map in 2014. The distance of this zone is 20 kilometers from the Ramnagar, right beside the Jhirna safari zone of Corbett National Park. Here, one can find mixed forest such as Saal, Rohini, Haldu, Bahera, Kusum vegetation, which makes it ideal for birdwatching tour in Jim Corbett Park. Along with abundant flora and bird population, Dhela Zone has a good population of tigers, bears, elephants and leopards. For safari, there are overall two trails giving tourists an opportunity to stroll around three to four km in the wild.
